  Expected better. If you like Japanese and Seafood you might like it better. Hostess gets 5 stars. Waitress gets 3. Food gets 3.5 stars. Ambiance gets 4 stars. I ordered the Ribeye, wife ordered the chopchop salad. Both were good not great. Tempura veggies was our best dish. Priced high (It's Maui).

  Food was just not for me. Just weird combinations. My fianace had a seafood mix broth with saffron, which I couldn't taste, in a pot with overdone lobster, scallops, oysters and it had olives in it. I had some kind of fish with a crunchy texture and a side of what they called sweet potatoes, which were gray in color and bland.

  Food was great! One thing that was a bit disappointing was the view. Even though the restaurant was supposed to be a sunset location to dine it really wasn't. We stared at a walk way and there was no table that would let you see the sunset. Service was ok and prices were high but food was excellent.

  You are paying for ambience and the orchid in your drinks. The food is delicious but not life changing and the way it's priced, it should be life-changing.
